Stop consuming milk, cheese, butter, yogurt, and ice cream! Are you kidding? Milk and cookies, cheese and wine, ice cream and cake, bread and butter, yogurt and...sophisticated slim French women. You might as well tell me to stop living. Ironically, you may well stop living if you continue consuming these condensed byproducts of cows’ milk.
    The average American consumes 586 pounds of milk and dairy products per year. Best we pause for a moment and acknowledge that we are consuming the lactation of another mammal, formulated specifically for the baby of that breed—in this case a cow’s calf—and a variety of refined concoctions manufactured from this mammal’s milk termed dairy “foods.”
    There is little doubt the removal of these foods from the diet would throw most anyone into a state of temporary psychological depression, but given the alternative—a state of chronic degenerative diseases—the choice should be an easy one.
